About the Role

The safety and security of our guests is our top priority at LEGOLAND New York Resort. Our Public Safety team offers many roles including EMT’s and Park Rangers. Join our Public Safety team and make an AWESOME difference!  

Role Description

• Oversees park safety and security, reporting any incidents to the Public Safety Management.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and Model Citizens.
• Assisting and conducting investigations, and completing written reports.
• Recording observations, information, occurrences, and partaking in surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses and obtaining photographs.
• Monitor access control and conduct security screenings of guests and Model Citizens.
• Dispatch and respond to radio calls.
• Secure facilities, equipment, and other assets.
• Execute all opening, operating and closing procedures, as instructed by Public Safety Management.
• Other duties as assigned.

About You

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a New York State Guard License. 
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to make a child’s day memorable.
• Work as part of a team.
• Dependable and Responsible (after all our guests depend on you!)
• Ability to work outdoors in any weather condition.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, and long distances.
• Flexible Availability around park hours (peak and nonpeak times).
