What you'll bring to the team

 

Job Purpose

 

Receives, handles, stores, issues, and delivers merchandise for LEGOLAND California. Moves materials and merchandise to storage areas and bin locations utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and or other material moving equipment. Drives a flatbed truck or other vehicle with trailer to deliver materials to on and off-site drop-off points.Six months of general warehouse experience required, additioanlly experience in a large retail environment helpful.

 

Essential functions:

  • Loads and unloads vehicles, containers, trailers and vans.
  • Moves materials or merchandise to storage areas and bin locations utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and or other material moving equipment.
  • Drives a flatbed truck or other vehicle with trailer to deliver materials to on and off-site drop-off points.
  • Performs daily clean-up activities.
  • Performs daily cycle-counts, inventory control, and maintains inventory within bin location.
  • Locates, assembles and prepares items for shipment or distribution.
  • Tags merchandise.
  • Receives and verifies items against receiving documents
  • Ensures warehouse maintenance, safety and security at all times. 
  • Work in various areas inside and outside of the Attractions
  • Use heavy machinery tools
  • Utilize basic math and counting skills. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
  • Capable of being certified to operate a forklift (Stand-up reach truck) and order pickers from the ground level to a maximum height of 30 feet above ground.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations
  • Must have valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and have valid vehicle insurance

This role is seasonal, with an end date of November 14th 2025.

Qualifications & Experience

Health & Safety

 

Team Members are responsible for ensuring all Health, Safety & Security measures are in line with the Group Policy (HS001). They must ensure that they follow all Company measure to ensure their own safety and the safety of others. This includes ensuring risk assessments are signed off, safe working procedures are in place and being followed for all work activities. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate

 

PPE Requirement:

  • Must possess non-slip, steel toed shoes.

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Six months of general warehouse experience required. Experience in a large retail environment helpful.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination is required. Some college course work is preferred

 

Work Environment

 

  • Various areas inside and outside of the Attractions
  • Using heavy machinery tools

Pay Range
